Helen Percival is a Chartered Psychologist registered with the governing body for professional Psychologists in the United Kingdom, the British Psychological Society, and has both Bachelors and Masters degrees in psychology from the University of Manchester. She established her practice in 1984, since when she has undertaken extensive further training in counselling and psychotherapy. Helen has also gained a Diploma in Clinical Hypnosis and a further Masters degree in Medical Science from the University of Sheffield School of Medicine and is a Member of the British Society of Clinical and Academic Hypnosis. She has recently completed a Post Graduate Certificate course in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. She is also a Member of the International Stress Management Association. Helen is registered with private health insurers.

Helen is experienced in both short and long-term therapy, and her wide range of experience and training enables her to tailor her service to the needs of each individual client. New clients are offered the option of a twenty minute consultation with no charge and without obligation. This is so that you and Helen can decide whether you want to work together or whether another therapist would be more appropriate.
